The Marmalade Cat Day Nursery
We are conveniently located on the outskirts of Tring. We have an exceptionally knowledgeable and skilled team who pride themselves on building strong relationships with the children.
We warmly welcome children and their families into our small and friendly nursery family. Here we will provide a stimulating learning environment for children, where they can grow in confidence to reach their full potential. Our skilful staff work with children in an inclusive and nurturing way. We support each child’s independence, and we celebrate each child’s individuality.
We communicate openly, with the aim of being learning partners with you on your child’s development journey. Each child will be given a specific key worker, who will work alongside you throughout your child’s time at the marmalade cat day nursery, to assist with their development. We listen to children and value their contributions, forming close and secure bonds along the way. We provide an excellent start for children, so that they are ready to begin school when the time comes.
Range of Sessions As well as providing wrap around care, we offer a range of sessions including half day, school hours, full day and term time care.
Stay connected Parents and grandparents receive access to our interactive FAMLY app. This is where updates will be able to be viewed as well as events and your child’s journey, all in one app.
Outdoor play area We have a great outdoor space for children to explore, learn and develop in. We go out in all weathers and have a spectacular nature garden where the children can be in touch with nature and help us to grow and look after plants, foods and observe mini beasts.
Affordable care Early education funding 2 year funding offered / 9 month funding subject to availability, EYPP funding. Tax- free childcare scheme registered. Childcare vouchers accepted.
Our Rooms
Our nursery has 3 rooms- kittens (babies), cats (toddlers) and tigers (preschool), where your child will be placed in the appropriate room for their age/ability. Each of our rooms are spacious and fully equipped to support your child with learning milestones and development. Babies have a quiet sleep room with cots in and the rest of the nursery also have sleep arrangements for your child to have their nap as required within a comfy environment.
